"Children thrive at this nursery and learn what they need to be successful in their future. Staff have an excellent understanding of what each child knows and needs to learn next. They use this information to plan activities carefully to help children achieve the next steps in their learning. This means that children make exceptional progress. Children speak a rich variety of languages. Staff support children extremely well by communicating using key words from their home language, where appropriate. Children's behaviour is exceptional. They show extremely good concentration, persevering even when things are challenging."
The first five years are the most crucial period of any child’s life. At Kido, we’ve set out to to create the highest quality nurseries and preschools bringing together pedagogy, design and technology.
Our curriculum draws from world-renowned pedagogies and is thoughtfully guided by the EYFS framework to support your child’s unique development and learning journey.
We believe that a combination of free and structured play, a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, and an abundance of care and attention provide the most solid foundation for children in the early years. Through a thoughtfully designed environment and engaging activities, children are encouraged to discover, play, and learn. We offer project-based learning to spark your child’s curiosity, inviting them to explore the world around them in meaningful, creative ways, providing high-quality early childhood education.
We offer French and Spanish sessions throughout the week and incorporate additional languages that reflect the diverse cultures of our Kido communities.
Kido was inspired by a group of parents from different parts of the world that found it hard to find premium quality early years education for their children. They searched for a great team of specialists to create an innovative educational program that would provide quality education and value the parents' involvement. And they found it! Our international team of specialists, together with our founders, have created an innovative curriculum that is customised according to each child's developmental needs and allows the parents to have an active role in it.
Nutrition plays a key role in a child’s development, and the food offered at Kido is thoughtfully planned to support their health, energy, learning and development.
Your child will be offered breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and snacks throughout the day. We partner with Nursery Kitchen who specialise in preparing meals for children. The menus are prepared by a team of chefs, dieticians and nutritionists who create meals that are appealing to children ensuring they contain the recommended intakes of calories and nutrients. The meals are prepared with high quality fresh ingredients and are nut-free. The portions offered take account of the age of the children and are in line with the regional recommended portion size for babies and young children. The menu can be adapted to cater to different food requirements ensuring a nutritious balanced diet for children with allergies or other dietary requirements. We do not provide Halal or Kosher food, however there are vegetarian, vegan and pescatarian options available.
Children are offered milk at breakfast (alternatives available) and water is available at all times within their rooms.
