Our summer camp day includes a warm welcome and free play, followed by engaging theme-based activities like arts, science, storytelling, and games. Kids enjoy active play, a snack break, and creative exploration through music, dance, or hands-on projects. The day wraps up with group discussions and reflection, ensuring a fun, enriching experience while making new friends!
Yes, children will be provided snacks as per the center's snack menu.
The safety and well-being of children are our top priorities at Kido Summer Camp. We ensure a secure and nurturing environment through comprehensive safety measures. Our trained staff are well-versed in child safety, supervision, first aid, and emergency response protocols. The premises are secure, featuring controlled access, CCTV monitoring, and strict pick-up/drop-off procedures. All activities, both indoors and outdoors, are supervised by trained caregivers, maintaining a 1:10 staff-to-child ratio for adequate attention. Hygiene and cleanliness are strictly maintained with regular sanitization of play areas, toys, and high-touch surfaces. A first aid kit is available on-site, and staff are equipped to handle minor injuries, with parents being promptly informed of any health concerns. We also ensure allergy and dietary awareness, with staff briefed on children's dietary needs and alternative options provided when necessary. Additionally, emergency protocols such as fire safety, evacuation procedures, and emergency drills are in place to ensure preparedness.
Since all the resource materials will be provided by us, we request you to kindly pack an extra set of clothes in case of any mess during play, snack (for certain centres) and a water bottle for all children. If your child is enrolled in the full-day program, kindly also send lunch from home.
The adult to child ratio is 1:6 (for children below 3 years) and 1:10 ( for children above 3 years)
Yes! Our camp includes plenty of active play and movement opportunities. Depending on the center, children participate in outdoor play, movement games, or indoor physical activities designed to keep them engaged and active throughout the day. Outdoor excursions are not included in the summer camp.
Once the parent agrees to enroll for summer camp, we will register the child on the Kido Parent App. Once registered, parents will be shared with the login credentials. Parents will have to pay through the app, and this app will also be the main mode of communication between the centre and parents.
At the end of each week, we will hand over the activities completed to the parents as well as share group images through the Kido Parent App.
Our daily activities are designed to be engaging and flexible, ensuring that your child can seamlessly rejoin the routine without feeling left behind. If there are any key updates or important learnings from the missed day, the teacher will provide guidance to help them catch up naturally.
Most of the items required for the camp will be provided by Kido, except incase of recycling projects where children will have to bring in items from home, which would be easily available or sourced. The teacher will send a note in advance on things needed from home.
There will not be any certificate for the summer camp program.
A 10% discount applies to one child’s camp fees.
Our summer camp instructors are experienced educators with a passion to work with children.
There is no virtual summer camp.
Parents will need to enroll for a minimum of two weeks of summer camp.
Our camps are planned based on the total enrollments taken, hence in case a day or week is missed we will not be able to refund or adjust the dates missed.
Yes. Parents can choose any two weeks from the programme list and the chosen weeks need to be communicated at the time of enrollment. This would help us better maintain adult child ratios.
Parents will only have the option of transitioning from Half Day to Full Day once they have fully completed two weeks of their Half Day programme.
At Kido’s Summer Camp, safety is our top priority. Our team of experienced professionals ensures a secure and nurturing environment where your child can make friends and create fun memories.
