Welcome to Kido DLF Downtown Preschool and Daycare, a unique early learning oasis within the vibrant DLF Downtown campus. Our center is thoughtfully designed to support the developmental journey of children from six months to eight years, offering a safe, engaging, and nurturing space where young minds can thrive.
Kido DLF Downtown is situated within a 4,500 sq. ft. early childhood center at DLF Downtown, just 0.5 km from the Tharamani bus stand and railway station. We provide a nurturing environment with learning and communication in both English and Tamil.
Our center includes age-appropriate classrooms tailored to suit each child's developmental needs, along with a large indoor play area. The space also boasts dedicated infant rooms for both play and naptime. To meet the needs of working mothers, there is also a dedicated feeding area. The thoughtfully designed center encourages free movement, exploration, and imaginative play, all within a well-lit space.
Each classroom is designed with age-appropriate learning aids and displays which offer a child multiple opportunities for inquiry, project and problem-based learning. Our unique program takes the best practices from Reggio, Montessori, and Steiner and overlays them with the latest neuro-scientific backed approaches to delivering the highest quality 21st-century learning experience.
A combination of free and structured play, a happy and interactive learning environment and abundant love, care and attention provide the most solid foundation for children in the early years.

We offer a safe and secure environment for children at DLF Downtown aged 6 months to 8 years, who can stay from 9 am to 7 pm throughout the day. The half-day and full-day care programs ensure your child has everything they need to be healthy and happy—equipped with a fully functional in-house kitchen to offer freshly cooked meals. With our well-designed spaces, your child can explore and grow under the care of experienced educators. Certified in emergency medical care and fire safety, our team is well-prepared to handle any situation. Our childcare facilities provide a solution for parents working full-time and those working part-time. The half-day program ensures your children can develop to the fullest extent from a physical, emotional, and cognitive perspective before returning home. This program incorporates a structured and well-defined routine in a child's early years. Apart from the structured daily routine, children are encouraged to participate in various age-appropriate activities and learn new skills that focus on holistic development.
The Kido app gives parents a great tool to stay updated with their child's daycare routine. Through this app, our team can provide daily updates on each child's meal, washroom and naptime details. Parents are further provided with a weekly newsletter which updates a parent with their child's photographs and activities.

We have crafted the most advanced Early Years Program, with the British Early Years Foundation Stage at its core. Classical philosophies like Montessori and Reggio Emilia, combined with cutting-edge research, come together to create an international, world-class pedagogy. Our extraordinary team, thoughtfully designed curriculum, and exceptional preschool environment nurture and enhance each childu0027s inherent curiosity, creativity, and potential for lifelong learning. Additionally, we provide children with unique opportunities to connect with their peers in other countries through our International Zoom Club Calls.
At Kido, we partner with parents during their childu0027s early years to create a collaborative and enriching experience. We offer the Kido Club, a first-of-its-kind exclusive portal for our Kido parents, allowing them to stay engaged with specially curated content for children and parents anytime, anywhere. The portal features a collection of home-based activities for children across STEM, Art, Literacy, Maths, and Physical Development, complete with weekly activities, worksheets, videos, and more, as well as webinars with specialists from around the world, specifically curated for Kido parents. Additionally, we host regular coffee mornings and actively involve parents in various in-school activities at our preschools, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
Our proprietary pedagogy—the Kido Early Years System (KEYS)—introduces children to literacy, maths, science, and technology (including coding for the early years), as well as drama and art. It integrates child-led and teacher-led activities with both free and structured play in curated learning environments. Our curriculum focuses on whole-child development and offers customized learning across a range of areas. We support your childu0027s language growth from an early age, building the foundation for communication even before they can speak. What children learn during this critical period serves as the basis for their future reading and writing abilities. The curriculum is designed to promote overall development, ensuring that each child is well-prepared for any mainstream school that parents choose.
Yes, we offer healthy and nutritious morning and evening snacks. Lunch must be provided by parents, and we ensure it is properly stored and heated for the children. However, some of our centres require parents to provide all meals. For more information, please connect with our Centre Head.
We coordinate toilet training with our parents once we determine that the child is ready. Our teachers will also advise you on how you can support this process at home, ensuring the child learns consistently both at our kindergarten and at home.
