The first stage in a child's journey at Kido is the Discoverers level. This level is designed to benefit children under eighteen months, although it is flexible to meet each child's individual needs. Within the rooms, we focus on children's personal, social, and emotional development, ensuring secure attachments with their teachers and peers. This attachment is fundamental to a child's ability to thrive in preschool life. Our highly skilled practitioners provide children with a range of age and stage-appropriate activities to challenge children's educational development. Furthermore, teachers target children's language, vocabulary, cognitive, and physical development. The children enjoy free and guided play, art, music, sensory play experiences, and an introduction to age-appropriate projects throughout their days. Practitioners will work closely with parents and carers to follow nap and food schedules and ensure a smooth transition from home to preschool and vice versa. The Discoverers age group is divided into three classes that progressively build on each other. Discoverers 1 is for children from six weeks to six months. Discoverers 2 is for children between six and twelve months. Discoverers 3 is for children between twelve and eighteen months.
