Welcome to Kido West Loop – Opening Soon in Chicago!
We’re thrilled to welcome families to Kido West Loop, our newest preschool campus located in the heart of downtown Chicago’s vibrant and family-friendly West Loop neighborhood.
Currently under renovation, this thoughtfully designed preschool and daycare will soon offer seven bright and engaging classrooms, purpose-built for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
Kido West Loop is being built with your family’s needs in mind. The campus will feature a large indoor play area designed to encourage active exploration, as well as an indoor stroller ramp and dedicated stroller parking for smooth and easy access. We have designated drop-off and pick-up parking on Washington Boulevard to make transitions simple and stress-free. Inside the school, families will find a private nursing room and a secure double-door entry system to ensure safety and privacy. Children will enjoy regular supervised walks to nearby Mary Bartelme Park, providing opportunities for outdoor play and community connection.
Our internationally inspired curriculum integrates the best of Reggio Emilia and Montessori philosophies, emphasizing child-led, project-based learning. We offer the Kido Curriculum alongside a Spanish bilingual program for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, fostering dual language acquisition while supporting emotional, social, and academic development through a holistic approach.

All of our teachers are formally educated and have a wealth of experience in the childcare industry and a genuine passion for teaching children. We put our heart into it and welcome teachers from different nationalities and cultures. This along with the 100 hours of internal training is all to ensure we give your child the very best learning and development experience while they're in our care.
Our international team of experts has created a comprehensive pedagogy known as the Kido Early Years Program. This innovative system incorporates the best practices from teaching philosophies from around the world, such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia and the theory of Multiple Intelligences.
You won't miss a moment of their development. Through our app for parents, you'll get regular updates, pictures and communication from your child's teacher throughout the day. Also during pick-up and drop-off we'll be sure to talk through anything you need to know and answer any of your questions.
