Welcome to Kido River North – Opening Soon in Chicago!

We’re excited to announce the upcoming opening of Kido River North, our brand-new preschool and daycare located in the heart of Chicago. Spanning over 12,000 square feet, the River North Preschool features six bright and spacious classrooms filled with natural light, a large indoor playground, and thoughtfully designed spaces to support learning.

Families will enjoy the convenience of designated street parking for drop-off and pick-up on W. Grand Avenue, indoor stroller parking, a private nursing room, and a secure double-door entry system to ensure safety at all times.

Our internationally inspired curriculum integrates the best of Reggio Emilia and Montessori philosophies, emphasizing child-led, project-based learning. We offer the Kido Curriculum alongside a Spanish bilingual program for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, fostering dual language acquisition while supporting emotional, social, and academic development through a holistic approach.

All of our teachers are formally educated and have a wealth of experience in the childcare industry and a genuine passion for teaching children. This along with the 100 hours of internal training is all to ensure we give your child the very best learning and development experience while they're in our care.

Our international team of experts has created a comprehensive pedagogy known as the Kido Early Years Program. This innovative system incorporates the best practices from teaching philosophies from around the world, such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia and the theory of Multiple Intelligences.

You won't miss a moment of their development. Through our app for parents, you'll get regular updates, pictures and communication from your child's teacher throughout the day. Also during pick-up and drop-off we'll be sure to talk through anything you need to know and answer any of your questions.
