Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education
Our Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education is designed to equip aspiring educators with the essential knowledge and skills needed to foster the development of young children. Enrollees will learn from experienced educators and gain hands-on experience in real-world settings.
Structure
Our Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education offers a mix of online coursework and practical training. The 6-month program is split into two phases
- Phase 1: 4 months of online theory-based training, with classes twice a week for 2 hours. Includes 16 hours of self-study assignments.
- Phase 2: 2 months of in-class practical experience, totaling 160 hours, at either Kido International Preschool and Daycare or a preschool of your choice. Kido Academy will not be liable for assisting learners in securing placements in non-Kido preschools.
Curriculum
Our program features small class sizes, an innovative digital learning environment, and expert instruction. The 12 units are based on three main themes:
- Foundation of Early Childhood Development: Understanding developmental milestones and theories.
- Essential Skills and Current Practices for Early Childhood Development: Exploring teaching strategies and best practices.
- Child Well-being, Safety, and Inclusiveness: Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all children.

The Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education is a 6-month course. It includes 4 months of online theory-based training and 2 months of in-class practical work.
To enroll, candidates must have a minimum of a High School diploma and basic knowledge of English (written and verbal). Both freshers and those with experience working with children are welcome.
The program fee is Rs. 40,000 plus GST, which is non-refundable. We are currently offering a special launch discount, reducing the fee to Rs. 40,000 from the original Rs. 55,000 for those who enroll before 25th July.
The curriculum includes 12 units divided into three main themes: Foundations of Early Childhood Development, Pedagogical Practices for Early Childhood Development, and Child Well-being, Safety, and Inclusiveness in Early Years Education.
Yes, the program includes 2 months of in-class practical experience. Learners will gain hands-on experience at one of our Kido centers or at a preschool of their choice, subject to certain conditions.
Assessments are based on assignments given at the end of each unit during the online theory phase. These assignments are graded as Excellent, Good, or Fair. Practical skills are assessed during the in-class training, and learners receive a final certificate based on their performance.
If an assignment does not meet the required criteria, learners will be asked to rework and resubmit it. Criteria for assessment will be provided to ensure clarity.
